Offers advice on achieving a fair financial and custody settlement, discussing how to assess a husband's net worth, avoid alimony clause pitfalls, challenge a prenuptial agreement, and more. This description may be from another edition of this product.
While I shudder at the complete lack of ethics in this book, this advice is invaluable to wives whose husbands are abusive, controlling, and out to destroy them in the event of a divorce. Let's face it: As much as it compromises one's principles, you cannot afford to play fair if doing so means your ex-husband will abuse you, steal the kids and hurt them, leave you penniless/on the streets, and get away with it.
5 stars or one - depends on your appetite

Face it folks, wake up, there are unscrupulous monsters among us. You may even be married to one (or you may be one!) - either a lawyer who operates at this level or a spouse who eagerly follows their advice. Note that these are the same lawyers/parents who wonder why their children have no integrity and are wasting their lives doing who knows what. I recommend this book to everybody contemplating marriage or divorce. Even ugly knowledge is still knowledge and thus prophylatic ("forewarned is forearmed" is another applicable cliche). A better standard of measurement is that if either of you are still insisting on using condoms to prevent the spread of disease (vs. pregnancy) after sleeping with each other for more than say three months (pick your own reasonable timeframe) then that should tell you something! Know thyself and thy prospective spouse pretty damn well before getting into the commitment/ties that can either liberate you or blind, bind, cripple and bury you.
If you're drafted into battle, this book will arm you!

I didn't want to fight. I wanted us to part, so that we'd both be happier and be able to prosper on our own. He didn't feel the same. He waged war against me and because I'm "nice" I joined the battle unarmed and completely vulnerable. I don't want to hurt him, but I'm strong enough to put my foot down and say, "No more abuse!" Divorce War gave me my sword.
Outstanding book for women!

Just got done reading this book and found it very informative. It gives women specifics about how to go about the divorce procedure and how to win a lucrative settlement. It has information that the majority of divorce lawyers would agree with but can't tell their clients due to ethics. Follows the saying "All's fair in love and war!". This book would make most men cringe at the prospect of their spouse being this informed.
Total Illegal Advice

This book tells you a lot of illegal advice, although the book is legal. The books tells you how to cheat your husband, steals his money, make him mad, put him in jail, and make him kill himself. Very interesting. A MUST BUY
