The author Angelo D'Onofrio gives the title to this book by creating a play on Iitalian words between DIVORZIO (Divorce) and DIVORARE (Devoured).
From the Latin DIVORZIO "divortiu(m)" = separation and DIVORARE "de- e vorare"= swallowing .
In the course of life there are many experiences of separation; from a partner, friends, family, often leaving us emptied and swallowed by a sense of failure.
But every divorce can be improved if we can see the experience of separation from several points of view and find reasons and causes. Through many autobiographical ideas, the author analyzes the experience trying to grasp the motivations of him, her, children, reflecting on the mechanisms of dependence that are created in relationships and suggesting how to deal with them to get out without being devoured.
