My 3.5 year old is fascinated with doctors and this book just makes her day. We have checked it out of the library for the last month and she almost cried when I said that it has to go back to the library to stay for a while. We must purchase a copy for ourselves. If the rest of this upcoming series is this well done, we will wind up with all of it, I am certain. The name of the hospital (Kiss it Better), the ailments that the patients have (a monkey who has put a pot on his head and a cat that falls out of a tree), and the moral lesson within the book (you should be nice to others) are all easily understandable for small children. The vocabulary is also easy to grasp. My daughter especially enjoys the large map of the town in the middle of the book and frequently looks at it; she always finds some new gem in the picture to tell me about. Lovely details in the artwork.
