The A to Z guide for planning and installing a successful NT network. Microsoft NT has become a popular network choice for many businesses because it is so easy to use. But businesses migrating to an NT network have found it painfully difficult to install. When installing NT it is essential to follow the proper order, but because of its newness, installation strategies are not widely known. With this book, Sue Plumley provides network administrators and IT managers with all of the important information they need to set up an NT server, from planning to installing to configuring to dealing with end users.
This was my first attempt setting up an NT server. This book read like a "GOOD" reference manual. There are a few typos, however, they are not such that your comprehension is hindered!I would recommend this book as a great place to start if you have NEVER built an NT Server from start to finish! The writing style is excellent and almost elementary. There is an over emphasis on verifying everything against the HCL... almost to an extreme; however, I guess it's necessary to prevent a disaster in the process of building your first NT server!Great job Sue! And Thanks!
This is the book!
