Brilliant Kooler(Again!)

There is an expectation when looking for a Donna Kooler book and this one dosen't disappoint. However, the focus is not as varied as some. The works are bright, bold and beautiful and will remain as treasured family peices but the majority of them are geared to children. My favorites, and outstanding designs for anyone, are the Carousel Animals and the Friendship Pillows. Included are framed works that compliment the Season and others that are striking worked on a black background. I'm glad that I added this to my library. Once again, the price can't be beaten and the book will be treasured.

American cross stitching is so vibrant compared to the European (I'm a Brit) and Donna Kooler is one of the very best. Her 'serious' needlework is excellent, but she and her team never forget to acknowledge the joy and sheer fun of the cartoon. This book is a part of my large and growing collection - but always the first source for inspiration. Check out the nutcracker stocking - he's the best ever.
