Christmas Knight As Christmas approaches, Hope O'Hara is in desperate straits: unless she can find paying guests for the house she has lovingly restored, she'll lose it to creditors. Enter one literal knight in shining armor--valiant and virile Ronan MacLeod, who is swept 700 years through time to save Hope from a potentially fatal accident...and to discover a passion for the ages. Moonrise *NEW * Devastated by a colleague's death and drawn to a thirteenth-century mystery, FBI agent Sara Nightingale arrives at Draycott Abbey for research and a much-needed getaway. Only, there she meets Navarre, a warrior from the Crusades who has been sent forth to avenge the guardian ghost of the abbey. Navarre and Sara cannot deny the centuries-old connection they feel...or the danger that surfaces from both the past and the present.
Draycott Abbey is no stuffy English Manor! For one thing, Marston, the butler, wears neon-colored sneakers with his proper uniform. For another, the Abbey's resident guardian ghost is a handsome lord who, with his true love, is always stepping in when outsiders seek to bring harm to his domain. A journey to the Witches' Pool, the moat, and the justly-famous rose gardens is always a treat. There is plenty of murder, mayhem, and mystery too....and romance is always an honored guest!
Draycott Everlasting A Winner

With every book about Draycott Abby, I love coming "home" to it's mysteries, inhabitants, and roses. Christina Skye never disappoints, and always makes my "trips" memorable. No matter who the main characters are, they always manage to intertwine with Adrian, my abby's guardian, and Gideon, my favorite feline. Truth be told, I was drawn to Gideon from his first appearance and by the time he nonchalantly leapt into Adrian's portrait, I was smitten. I sense Gideon is much more than he (she?) seems. Perhaps that's another layer to Draycott Abby's mysteries that Ms. Skye is saving for the future. The only downside....as soon as I finish the latest book, I'm missing everyone and looking for the next one! Brava Christina!
two entertaining Draycott romantic fantasies
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 15 years ago
"Christmas Knight". Although she has not seen Glenbrae, Hope O'Hara purchases the Highlands Manor with plans to convert the house into a bed and breakfast. The Wishwell sisters think Hope is perfect for Ronan McLeod, the thirteen century first owner of Glenbrae. Although they live seven centuries apart, the siblings use magic to bring Hope and Ronan together; believing love will do the rest. "Moonrise". Former Crusader Knight, Navarre the Wolf plans to kill his former friend Adrian the ghost guardian of Draycott Abbey for betraying him. Collateral damage is acceptable to Adrian who casts a spell that will kill everyone inside by moonrise. The lone human resident is FBI agent Sara Nightingale seeking clues to a missing treasure, but instead meets Navarre and Adrian. These are two entertaining Draycott romantic fantasies with Christmas Knight being a 1998 reprint and Moonrise a novella. Fast-paced and filled with strong characters especially lead protagonists in conflict and love Christina Skye casts a spell on her audience with the coupling of the new and the old. Harriet Klausner
