The book should be read by anyone interested in alternate realities. I frequently find myself day dreaming about the "lines" it describes. My reservation regarding the rating is that the ending reads as though it was hastily written and loses the engaging quality the rest of the book possess. I would still recommend the book because I think the weak ending is made up for by the strength of the rest of the story.
Haunting

I read this because it was recommended by Jonathan Lethem. Well, he was right. It deserves to be read. Sort of an oneiric experience. Well written, and after WTC massacre it gained a weird realistic quality--especially the ending part. 'Tis a pity the author devoted himself to nonfiction.
Dream Science Conquers Rational Thought

This book defies any and all expectations, in a way that leaves you without words. I reccomend this book to anyone and everyone who would like to jump into a rabbit hole that exists in our current world. The book begins with the main character awakening in a strange room that is connected to a hallway which just circles around the room. No doors, no windows, and no escape. There is a man, however, that mysteriously comes in and out to bring food and other things to the main character. Eventually, he finds a way out and embarks on an adventure so unbelieveable that at one point he actually finds an exact double of himself, fights with it, and then murders it. This is quite an interesting story that anyone would be sure to read in one sitting. Buy it, and you will never read another book again.
