Ethereal and Hypnotic Effect

The images in this book have an ethereal and hypnotic affect depicting the reverence to nature the wolf held to the Native Americans. As two Native American children become lost and take shelter in a cave a protective wolf appears in a dream and upon awakening the wolf fulfills the dream. This allegorical tale of the beauty and wonderment that the nurturing spirit of the wolf represents is poetically told in inedible images...

Dream Wolf symbolizes trust, hope

Another Native American tale I adore. The brillant rich drawings speak when the words do not. A story of two children who place their trust into a wolf who leads them back to their home and how the wolf is honored for doing so. It is still hopeful that someday we will capture that which has been lost to us. The love of the land and honoring the animals.
