Dreaming the English Renaissance examines ideas about dreams, actual dreams people had and recorded, and the many ways dreams were used in the culture and politics of the Tutor/Stuart age in order to provide a window into the mental life and the most profound beliefs of people of the time.
Being interested in dreams myself, I find this to be quite enlightening. I hadn't realized how dreams in medieval times influenced decisions & opinions so much. Well worth the read!

This book went into a facet of the English Renaissance that I have never read before. It was very well written and I would recommend it to anyone interrested in the Renaissance or British History. I was not aware of this study of the English Renaissance. After reading this book I would like to further explore this little known side study of the Renaissance.
