This wonderful book is in some ways similar to The Christmas Carol, by Charles Dickens, but in some ways, it is like Pilgrim's Progress. The five dreams and visions teach us important lessons and reveal important truths. It should not be looked upon as a book about Heaven, it is not about Heaven, but Heaven is merely the location where two of the dreams take place. What is important is what happens to the man in the dreams. Though not as old as Pilgrim's Progress, it needed to be updated, so I have changed many archaic words and changed a few phrases that were not clear. I have also changed chapter titles to be more representative of the actual content of the chapters. I have even changed the original title of the book, which was merely "Visions," but it is clear that they are mostly dreams.Michael D. Fortner, Publisher
