In this hilarious follow-up to "Tickle the Duck!," Duck is back and is determined to conquer his greatest fear--even though he insists he's not afraid of the dark. This fun book features a clicking on-off light switch that actually lights up. Full color.
We bought this when dd was about 15m (she's now 2 years). She loves pushing the light switch and now that she's understanding the cues from the book, she's really having fun with it. It definitely didn't make her scared of the dark -- I'm not sure I see how it would. My problem with it is that sometimes she leaves the light on or it turns on if another book is on top of it and the batteries die. Well, it takes three little watch batteries and at ~$4 a piece, this book has gotten quite expensive. I've replaced them twice, so the book has cost me $34 so far! Now, we're just clicking the light switch and pretending the light is turning on and off. Better use of her imagination, I guess.
