From the New York Times bestselling author of Falling and Sister Stardust comes a timely novel about the challenges of starting over. In the Gold Coast town of Highfield, Connecticut, recent divorc?e Kit Hargrove has joyfully exchanged the requisite diamond studs and Persian rugs of a "Wall Street Widow" for her true dream home: a clapboard Cape with sea green shutters and sprawling impatiens. Her kids are content, her ex cooperative, and each morning she wakes up to her dream job assisting novelist Robert McClore. But when a figure from the past arrives just as the shifting financial market turns Highfield upside down, Kit is forced to realize that her blissfully constructed life and blossoming new romance aren't as foolproof as she thought...
Great book or I really liked it. What others will think of it is up to them.
Enjoyable and entertaining

I enjoy Jane Green's books and this one did not disappoint me as it seems to have let other readers down. Kit is a main character I can easily empathize with and root for. It is interesting to read a book where you are hoping a divorced couple are will be able to grow and find each other again. I look forward to more from Green.
Dune Road

Jane Green is one of a select few of my favorite authors. She writes about relationships in the real world. I took Dune Road on the treadmill at the gym, to bed to read before a wonderful slumber, the doctors office, anywhere I could have a moment to pick it up and read a few pages. I highly recommend this book. Can't wait for her next to be published!
Great book!

Gosh, so many bad reviews: I don't get it. I think this book is a wonderfully entertaining read. It's mid-winter here and dreary. Dune Road has been my best friend for a couple of days while keeping warm inside. I got emotionally invested in all of the characters, couldn't wait to see how things progressed and found the human relationships so believable and real. Green comprehends and articulates so well the subtle nuances of relationships whether between friends, divorced couples, parents, moms and daughters: you name it. Green is a superb story teller. I'm a secondary English teacher. I think Dune Road is a great read!
Another best-seller for Jane Green

I have been a fan of Jane Green's work since I read Jemima J and I must say that I truly enjoyed Dune Road. Green gets better and better and she certainly doesn't disappoint with her latest must-read. Green has created characters that spring to life and makes the reader care about and understand the choices they make along the way. The characters and plots of Dune Road captivated me from the first page and had me intrigued until the very last. Jane Green has once again treated her readers to a quick and entertaining read.
