Dying to Talk: Words, Poems and True stories about death, dying and grief.

When our loved ones depart from this world they often leave the ones left behind with a heavy heart. This book is a collection, words, true stories and poems about death, dying and grief. It is designed to help you navigate this difficult and complex process. My aim is to get people talking and sharing their stories and thoughts about this often taboo subject.
I spoke at length with many volunteers from different walks of life, who were all at different stages in their journey. They all agreed to share their stories and many found comfort in doing this. They were dying to talk about their experiences for their own healing and with hope that they may help you in some way.
The book contains accounts of my own personal stories some which I've not shared or spoken about before.
I hope the shared experiences help to bring a little comfort to you at whatever stage you are at in this natural but painful and confusing time. The majority of us, the living, will inevitably experience the dying and death of a loved one which will always lead to grief in some shape or form.
Talking and sharing can help us with acceptance or even just give us a glimmer of hope.
