This is a great book for beginners. It doesn't go into any technical details like why things do what they do but that's fine. I don't need to know that. The steps are pretty easy to follow and understand. There were a few weak instructions but not enough to worry about. The examples are well chosen. I would have made the book more square than rectangular since it would take up less space when working. Best of all, you can't...

I am just learning photoshop and found this book to come in very handy. The format is easy to flip through and refer back to when in the process of working. Sometimes it's hard to tell from the small illustrations what the effect or outcome is, and it dosen't answer all questions, but in general I thought it was very useful for the begginer.
