This a great book if studying for the PRAXIS: PLT. Recommend using this and a study guide book. Gives full detailed explanations of theories and how to apply these theories.

This was a good textbook for my Ed Psych class. It comes with two DVD's with different scenarios in them. They were basically just videos of some of the material which is read in each chapter but in some cases, it was nice to actually see what was going on.

Eggen & Kauchak do an excellent work in presenting the latest research information, internet technology (CD included) bibliography, in learning and teachning. I'm glad to have used it as a textbook for a doctoral work, because the leads were easily attainable. No one should discuss the dynamics of education without reading this book.
