This is a stunningly beautiful book of photos of Martha's Vineyard by one of the great photographers. He spent many summers on the Vineyard, and so was able to catch areas of the island in perfect conditions of light, cloud, etc. The photos of Menemsha after a hurricane are amazing, as are the now-eroded cliffs of Gay Head. The narrative adds greatly to the enjoyment of the book. A real treasure.
