Elysium Tide by James R. Hannibal is an edge-of-your-seat stand-alone suspense thriller. Dr. Peter Chesterfield is a workaholic, top neurosurgeon at the Royal London Hospital. When he is ordered to take a weeks’ vacation in Maui, he can’t stop working there either. Detective Lisa Kealoha is trying to solve a murder case but the irritating doctor won’t stop interfering. The story started off a little slow for me but it sure picked up the pace. There were twists and turns enough to please any James Bond fan! Another great story by Mr. Hannibal.
