A very good intermediate textook

I am a Spanish Teacher and I have been using this textbook for about 2 years. The students love it and I like it too as all the readings are very engaging and show a piece of the hispanic culture in each chapter. The conversations we have in class based on the topics of the books are the best part. The lexico, or vocabulary, covered is very practical. THe exercises are also very good. I highly recommend this textbook for those students who are intermediate level and want to improve their reading and conversation skills. It is better use in a classroom setting but it could be used as a self-study resource too. Urania Pérez

This workbook is a fantastic tool for any intermediate student wanting to expound upon their Spanish comprehension and vocabulary; this book is very well organized which makes it easy to understand and learn. This edition emphasizes the acquisition of reading skills and text comprehension through varied cultural and literary readings. The pre- and post-reading activities helped to build my reading skills and understanding of the Spanish language faster than other books I have used in the past. I think that the numerous authentic readings throughout the text were perfect in length and the stories were truly engaging. I definitely recommend this book for all intermediate students who want to learn the Spanish language fast and effectively.
