This book I would consider the best in identifying the antique and mid-century paper weight. Tho dated it still holds your interest with images and facts on the subject.
Worth its WEIGHT in gold....

While is it certainly shows its publishing date and does not have some of the pretty color pictures of more contemporary works, it is redeemed over and over by its scope and breadth of coverage that few other reference books can match. There are a few places where more modern scholarship might have come to differing conclusions but that is the nature of all study and research. This reference book should be part of any collector's library and represents such a small investment for its lasting value and broad coverage of paperweights and their makers.
