Very interesting book to read. Introduction mixes poetry with English paintings to set the mood of the English countryside as you would expect in a Jane Austen story. Full color cross stitch charts feature country motifs such as flowers and animals. Many are stylized designs suitable for seat covers or pillows. Includes section on designs for church vestements and altar cloths.
