Great resource for entrepreneurship

It is not easy to write a book that covers the topic of entrepreneurship along with all of its vagaries, but this book does a respectable job, and then some. Dollinger is certainly an academic at heart, but he goes into the various areas of entrepreneurship with more than enough detail, and certainly enough to help round off and polish the aspiring entrepreneur. After having taken Marc's class at Indiana University Kelley School of Business, I am making plans on starting my own franchise retail chain. Inspiration for the franchise model also came from this book.

I am lucky to have him teach me the class as well. This is by far the best entrepreneurship book I have ever read. It will keep you thinking constantly.

This is a great book for anyone thinking of starting up their own company or wanting to understand the way that businesses are created. Business plan creation, practical applications, new venture strategies, and the importance of resource control are a few of the subject matters covered. The text is filled with stories of real people and their successes and failures. I am using this book in an undergraduate entrepreneurship class at the University of Southern California.
