Its an autobiography of Matts experiences becoming a modern hunter-gatherer and his struggles and triumphs. I've only skimmed thru but I had gotten the idea this was a book telling us how we ourselves might become one if we wanted to (or had to). There's only about 4 pictures on how to make yucca sandals. Overall if you like Matt Graham and want to read his biography, then get this. Otherwise I wouldn't recommend it, just stick to watching his videos which are much better at teaching survival skills than this book. Btw I love Matt but, like Dave canterbury, he is a better talker/instructor than a writer, in my opinion.
