One of our toddler's favourite books..with hidden fun things to find

Got this book from the library and then had to buy our own copy 'cause our 2 year old loved it so much. Looks to be based in New York City but then what do I know.... The sentences are short but some of the words are big for little kids, but she didn't care. Had lots of fun finding Marvin hidden in the pictures...then discovered there's an emu and a little black cat in each as well. She quickly learnt where they all are and enjoys pointing them out as we read it to her. Lovely little book.

Divertido, inteligente y gracioso. I can't stop reading this book! I read this to my students almost daily and they discover new things each time in the incredibly clever illustrations. It's a comedy show and a mystery story at the same time. Que Fantastico!

My 2 year old daughter loves this book. If we read it once, we read it five times in response to her demand of "Again!" and "Again!" She loves spotting Marvin in some places that are familiar to her, like the subway and the park. But she really loves when Helvetica Hippo dashes out! No matter how many times we read this book, the anticipation of the last page makes her wiggle and giggle until the end.
My ONE year old can't get enough of this book!

The short text and the lively illustrations have made this my one year olds favorite. We found it in a used book store and it was the best purchase we've made! He brings it to me at least 5 times a day and we love to play "where's Marvin?" Finding surprises in each picture keeps him entranced....which is hard for a 1 year old! I hope I can find more books like this one.

My 4 year old *loves* this book and we spend hours exploring the wonderful illustrations for hidden and subtle pictures. I highly recommend this book for young children and often give it as gifts.
