This is a great book on Heaven it really breaks it down and easy to understand . I got so excited I could not wait to pick the book back up .Thru the loss of loosing four members in my family one horrible weekend JUne 27,2004 it has really helped me know my family is with the Lord and in such a wonderful place. It helps you to focus on Eternity which is Heaven and remember we are only piligrims passing thru this Earthy world . Thumbs up very good book ! Rita

I really got a lot from this book. Stowell explains that in order to see life in its fullest meaning, the believer needs to see all three worlds: the world around us (earth); the world within (the Kingdom of Christ); and the world to come (heaven). Focusing on the eternal and prioritizing our worlds is key. Anyone searching to understand why a Christian may often feel "out of sync" should read this book.

Rare is the day when I find a book whose content causes me to recall daily what I have learned, but Stowell's Eternity is just that. For months after I finished its pages, I was still bringing to mind specifically what he talked about. The principles he lays down concerning our focus are powerful and well worth the perusal of any follower of Christ.

For those who are looking for encouagement to make it through this "flat" existence, Dr. Stowell's work in this book is the answer. He uses scripture, and life experiences that get your eyes off the mundane and on the things of eternal value. This is my second time to read through "Eternity", and the Spirit of God is breaking through in areas I didn't even expect! Dr. Stowell does not ice over the rough stuff of life, but in his way brings light to those dark parts that you just don't hear alot these days. I recommend this book for all christians!!
