This Book Changed My Life

I didn't think Miller could get any better than "Light That Whispers Morning"--but he has. I'm taking this book one night at a time, three poems a night, reading each at least twice. They are simply incredible poems, from "Anna Says" to the final piece, "Far." They are stories of places and people and travel and, as fellow poet Barry Grimes writes, "They are close enough to remember, far enough to keep running up there, past here, to somewhere else. All along the way, steady." I couldn't have said it better myself.Kevin's an inspiration, a hero, a friend of mine. He's my Short Fiction & Poetry teacher, and reading this book--as well as its predecessor--push me to be a better writer. I'm being taught by the guy who wrote "The Heart of Displace" and "In My Most Recent Prayer." I'm being taught by Kevin Miller.Buy this book.
