Experiments with EPROMS is an invaluable reference for the electronics hobbiest who wishes to get started with EPROMS.With its fifteen simple EPROM projects, including a poor man's EPROM programmer (which saves a ton of money that deters many people from getting in to this exciting field), it encourages many nights' tinkering in the basement.While the circuit diagrams are not completely intuitive (repeated connections are left out, conserving space but confusing the reader), the basic concepts are present and well explained. The book also contains an extensive reference section, ranging from an introduction to boolean algebra, to IC pinouts that will come in handy if you lack the bulky, dog-eared reference set that would otherwise contain this information.
