A strange figure dressed in black enters Grayson's life, calling her past, present and future into question. This description may be from another edition of this product.
A few months ago I read O'Connor's `A Poem For What's Her Name' and was laughing for weeks afterward. The story was fantastic and it seemed very much like an imaginative auto-biography. Based on that experience, I expected something similar from this book, but that's not quite what I got. O'Connor brings to light Grayson (Gray) Thomas (straight with gay/lesbian friends). Gray thinks she is seeing things as a mysterious man in a black trench coat and hat seems to be following her. The only problem is none of her friends ever see him. As she gets more intrigued by this man, she gets braver and eventually invites him into her home. From there, they begin having conversations and she learns about things she could never have conceived. This one was quite different from anything I've read in the last few years. It certainly took some imagination to create these characters and their plot. Bottom line - Well written and sometimes comical, this book is certainly a departure from the norm. Nonetheless, it brings a little levity to the subject of death and living a good life. Gray is engaging, but it makes me wonder if a guy in a black trench coat is sometimes lurking outside my bedroom window.

Eyes Of Gray by: Dani O'Connor Is a wonderful read that keeps you captivated until the very end. College student Grayson finds her self finishing her senior year alone after all her friends have either dropped out or graduated. When a mysterious stranger shows up. When ever he is around she feels his presents. She also reconnects with an old friend and her lover who befriends Gray along with the Pastor from the church across the street from her house. This story will make you think about things that happen in your life and how all things happen for a reason . This story left me thinking about things in my own life. Kept me guessing until the end very suspenseful. Great job Dani!
