The prevaricating pros who helped students glide through seven years of college in The CollegeHumor Guide to College are back to show post-grads how to turn life into an "Easy A" by, well, faking it. From sounding like an MBA to bribing the ma tre d' to acting sensitive post-sex, here is everything aspiring equivocators need to know to B.S. their way to success in the real world. As the authors remind readers: "The important thing isn't who you are; it's who other people think you are." With this poseur's bible in hand, a generation is poised to go forth and fake it.
I found this book on accident and the title caught my eye. I was looking for a book to entertain my friend who broke his leg and found this. I was aiming for "I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell" and I ended up getting this one too. It's really funny and perfect for the college student/graduate that knows what it is like to just get by whether it be riding coattails or what have you. Great gift, probably more suitable for a guy but I am a girl and thoroughly enjoyed the book and ended up buying myself a copy later on. Good as a coffee table book and to read straight through. Highly recommended.

Buy this book, it's great. It's something like 60% funny BS and 40% valuable knowledge that you really can use and probably should have. I got this one and was laughing out loud and so far everybody I've let read it has loved it and most wanted to buy their own copy.
Amazing!

While the book is titled and themed around 'Faking It', you will come to realize that if you try these things, you will unwittingly improve yourself over time. There was a ton of good advice geared towards young adults coming out of college and in their early 20s, and also had a great mix of humor in with it. Basically it is a great self-improvement book that keeps you intensely interested beginning to end by offering out true advice mixed in with incredibly humorous sarcastic side notes.

A very funny book full of great advice for guys on how to seem just a little bit better than you actually are. Topics range from the practical, ordering wine and throwing a cocktail party with minimal effort, to the extreme, making up jail stories and doing drugs while looking respectable. The book can be read in an afternoon or can be used as a reference guide.

This book was pretty funny and has lots of good general knowledge tidbits. It actually has practical, fact-based information that makes the book feel like an encyclopedia for hipsters. For example, I really don't follow sports, but now I know that I can say that a team is "all coached up." I got the first College Humor book and loved it. This one didn't let me down.
