Vibrant Story of Fun and Friendship

"Fall is for Friends" is one of the most vibrantly and cutely illustrated picture books I have ever seen. I was already familiar with some of the "Suzy's Zoo" stories and was pleased to discover this one. This is about two friends, Suzy Ducken and Emily Marmot, who love the fall season. Their favorite thing to do is jump in piles of leaves, a simple but wonderful pleasure. The problem these two have is that even though it's fall and the colors of the leaves are changing, they haven't really fallen yet. These two decide they aren't just going to sit and wait! They decide that maybe the leaves just need a little help to fall. But how can they make them fall? I recommend this for anyone that enjoys a cute and spunky picture book story. The illustrations go great with the text and the story can be enjoyed by any reader.
VERY NICE LITTLE CHILDREN'S BOOK ABOUT FALL

This small, well illustrated work by Suzy Spafford is a joy to read to children. Suzy Ducken and her friend Emly (a fuzzy little critter of some sort) have a fall walk and fall adventure. This illustrations are quite good. The text is simple and to the point and matches the illustratons quite well. This is a nice book to either read with your cild or to your class. It can be used to create all kinds of discussions of the Fall Season. Recommend this one highly.
