Whom should Cissy Nidd believe? Her father, maker of counterfeit coins? Or John Bunyan, the prisoner in her father's jail who dares to speak of worshiping God in spirit and in truth? As Cissy endures... This description may be from another edition of this product.
I liked this book because it kept me on the very edge of my seat(so to speak). I stayed up till 12:30 AM to finish it. It was so good I could hardly put it down. Luckily, I had my trusty LED flashlight. Cissy (CeCelia) Nidd is the main character in the book. Her father is a maker of counterfeit coins and she is supposed to help exchange false coin for true coin. But in the process, John Bunyan, a True coin, comes for a stay in the jail. Will he have an effect on Cissy? Will she die of the Black Death (Bubonic Plague), or in the Great Fire of London, but more important, will she die to her sin? It's a very good, clean book, recommended for anyone who's age 12 to 112.
