Image consultant Caitlin McBride is moved by the preteen's letter. Jenny fears that unless her single father looks more like a "dad," he'll lose custody of his children. Caitlin knocks on Devon... This description may be from another edition of this product.
This is the third book about the McBride sisters and although I haven't read the first two, I had no problem absolutely loving this one. A young teen, Jenny, enters her father, Devon in a makeover contest. Her father has just won custody of his children after his ex-wife's death. He's a reclusive writer who doesn't care much about appearances and refuses to let anyone know he's the author of a best-selling series of children's books. On the outside, he looks like a pretty poor choice to raise three children. In truth he's a great parent. Image consultant Caitlin McBride prides herself on helping her clients show the world who they really are. If only Devon would open up enough for her to really find out who he is! When the children's aunt decides to petition the court for custody, he has no choice but to accept Caitlin's help. The characters in this story are easy to love and the plot pulls at your heartstrings. It is impossible to put the book down until you've reached the last page. I will definitely be searching for the previous books in this series.

I love Kathryn Springer's writing. She has such a special touch with stories, I can't wait for each new book to come out. Her characters are very real and I have to read cover to cover in one sitting. I have been a fan of hers from the beginning and I can't wait to see what the future holds for one of my favorite authors!
