My son has been struggling with reading since 2nd grade and we have tried all types of books to get him hooked and these snagged him good. He loved them and read everyone quickly. Just wish they would write more books before he gets too old for them. We'll keep looking for more! Laura
Great Read for First to Fifth Graders - Especially Boys!

I think this is a great book because this is the volume where you find out that Mrs. Frightenright and Principal Prickly Pear are actually aliens. I was surprised that the author would remember to fulfill Clock Boy's prediction of the future from Tuna Fish Tuesday (an earlier volume in this series). I recommend this book for second graders (or smart first graders) up to age 12.
