I WAS PAGING THROUGH THIS BOOK AT A FRIENDS HOUSE WHEN I SAW A PICTURE OF MY GRAND PARENTS AT REDONDO. THIS SAME PICTURE IS IN A STACK OF OLD FAMILY PICTURES THAT ARE NOW IN MY CARE. I HAD TO HAVE A COPY FOR MYSELF. WHEN I FINALLY FOUND ONE I READ IT COVER TO COVER. I HAVE LIVED MY 62 YEARS OF LIFE, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF EIGHT YEARS FOR THE NAVY, IN THIS AREA. I FOUND OUT MORE ABOUT THE FEDERAL WAY AREA FROM THAT BOOK THAN I HAD GAINED IN ALL THE TIME I LIVED HERE. I NOW HAVE EIGHT OF THE "IMAGES OF AMERICA" BOOKS ALL DEALING WITH THE LOCAL AREAS OF SEATTLE TO TACOMA, THERE ARE MORE AND I WILL ONE DAY HAVE ALL VOLUMES DEALING WITH WASHINGTON.
