I don’t know if I would recommend any of these books to a friend or family member in all honesty. The timeline is wonky. This was not a very pleasant read and a disappointing series. The recurring theme through this series was the need for more details, more continuity, and more attention to detail. *minor spoiler* The beginning of the book is supposed to be two weeks from their veritable D-Day and then "one day passes" and it's suddenly less than a week away. The whole last half of the book takes place in the span of 48ish hours. I know what is for me isn't for every one and vise versa, and this series just wasn't for me.

This series has a lot of twists and turns that you don't always see coming. I like the black and white artwork as well. Because it helped me see that things aren't always easy to figure out and say with 100% certainty that it's one way or another. This book helps prove that.

I absolutely positively love this book and the ending. There are some of this books that at the end have Patch's version of what happened when they met for the very first time. It is not what you would expect!
