I read this book many years ago after reading one of Provost's books on writing. It's a fascinating example of how to tell stories. Marilyn Greene has many great stories about finding other people, but Gary took these stories and wove them into her personal journey of discovery--of finding her true self. The book thus is a story in itself, and much more interesting than it would have been if it had been published as just a collection of stories about finding other people.
