Shannon and her friends hear the roar of fire engines responding to a fire in Irishtown. They hurry to find out where the fire is located. When they discover it's one of the O'Neill's barns, they make it their mission to find a way to help them. They meet the following day at the treehouse to discuss a plan of action. The children come up with the perfect idea.This year, as part of the Oyster Festival, the Notre Dame Club of Irishtown is selling tickets for the 2015 Shamrock Series. The two rivals are Notre Dame vs. Boston College and the game is to be held in the famous Fenway Park in Boston, MA. The children are hoping to use this event as a means to rebuild the O'Neill's barn. Also, with the help of their friends, they hope to raise money by holding a big bake sale at Mary Immaculate's Parish Hall. With their hard work and determination, the children successfully accomplish their mission. 'Fire in Irishtown' is Book 2 in the series titled "The Treehouse Adventures".
