Georgia true crime.
I wish they would have answered the question of why a former military man would not defend himself.
A Good Read

Interesting story, but I was left with a major question. Why would a former soldier calmly go to his death without fighting back-at all? I think there was more to this story that never got uncovered. But, it was still a compelling book. I even felt bad for Greg Owen, he was definitely Kelly's patsy. Doug, the victim, was a truly good man, and Kelly's kids surely lost out not having him in their lives anymore. What did these guys see in her?! I enjoyed this book.
Very Well Written and Factual

She keeps you interested in the chain of events to this horrific crime. When I first moved to Atlanta I remember this story as headlines for months, and I am glad to review the case to conclusion now. She did it and probably helped her boyfriend kill the poor guy. The author takes you inside the mind of both the defense and prosecution and families on both sides of the drama. She also exposes the victim and victim's family as they face hardship. So many times folks focus on the criminal and crime but forget the family left behind and parents of the victim. She does not forget and does them justice with this book.
