I use this as part of my homeschool curriculum, my 4 yr old daughter loves it & has learned so much from it. It talks about where babies come from & sperm & egg cells but not how it gets there if ya know what I mean b ut reguardless it may make some parents uncomfortable. I highly recommend it.

My 5 year-old LOVED this book. She learned so much from it and couldn't wait to open the flaps. I was a little thrown by the human reproduction part. I wasn't quite ready to introduce that much detail to my 5 yo but it can be done appropriately using this book.

We purchased this book as part of our homeschool curriculum for our 5 and 3 year old boys. The 5 year old, in particular, is fascinated by this book and loves reading it with us. It is really helping him understand the basics of how his body works. It has a whole section (about 1/3 of the book) about how babies are made, but the information is very appropriate for young children and talks mostly about how the babies grow while in the mom's tummy. There is no mention of "how" the sperm from the man gets to where it could meet with the egg from the woman, which I think would have been more information than I would have been comfortable discussing at this point. Anyway, a great overview of the body and how it functions.
