This introduction to all aspects of microbiology takes a taxanomic approach by presenting coverage of the complete family of a particular pathogenic organism. It is accompanied by a Student Study Art Notebook, and includes CD-ROM icons providing cross-referencing to the Microbes in Motion CD-ROM. Microfiles icons identify boxed readings giving students a better understanding of the history, medical applications, biotechnology, genetics, and immunology.
Good reading. Great illustrations. Easy to understand especially with the help of the free resources from the their website (just click on resources).

Item was shipped fast, still in packaging. The book itself is wonderful. It summarizes each section and then an overall summary of the chapter. It's simple to read and understand compared to another Microbiology book I have. I would recommend it!
