This is a good resource for anyone seeking to better understand how the United Methodist Church sees Christian education, especially teachers and for confirmation classes. It is an easy read and the margins contain helpful reflection questions. The book is based on the pattern of the Wesleyan quadrilateral, looking specifically at the areas of Scripture, experience, tradition, and reason. We liked the emphasis on remembering that teachers, as well as students, need to be given spiritual nourishment.
