Four Plays Plays by Grace Cavalieri Including Anna Nicole: Blonde Glory: Blonde Glory: Blonde Glory: Blonde Glory: Four Plays by Grace Cavalieri

"Anna Nicole: Blonde Glory" was in development for five years, with several successful readings in Maryland and New York City. It was guided to production by Director Shela Xoregos. The play opened at The Theater for The New City, (NYC) in October 2012. There was a marvelous opening night and then Sandy the Hurricane hit the city, filling the subways with water, and closing Broadway and off- Broadway for weeks. When calm was restored, our show was closed, since it was mounted as a three- week showcase production, and all actors were off to other jobs. Rose Solari portrayed "Anna" at The Bethesda Writers' Center in its initial reading.

"Cuffed Frays" won a state-wide playwriting contest in West Virginia 2001, was produced for radio, but deserved a live viewing. The play was revived in a salon reading, 2022, with Phyllis Culham and Grace Cavalieri performing the roles of Chester and Jo.

Also in 2022, to an invited audience, "Sunshine Tiki Villas" premiered with actors Nancy Buchenauer, Nancy Zimmerman, and Phyllis Culham, portraying Veronica, Coco, and Muriel.

"Harvest Kitchen" was originally written as a short story in 1976. At that time the piece won the Pen Syndicated Fiction Award, judged by Grace Palin. After this, 'Harvest Kitchen" was converted to a short two -character play. Although previously produced for radio, the "live" Reading was premiered by Janice Booth (Fran) and Jackie Graves (Margaret) in 2022, as part of the Annapolis Maryland Salon Series.

These three short plays, which had such small lives, still endure and now are made permanent so their characters, who deserved more, can flourish a little longer. Additionally, Anna Nicole Smith, who was so devalued in her own life, is vindicated in this fiction and is therefore worth saving in print.
