In the early days of the United States with the movement of denominations across America there were many women in leadership. This book is not compiled to discuss the right and wrong of such, but rather to be true to history.I knew many of these ladies and many of our present day leaders were converted under some of their ministries.When the East and West Conferences came together in 1935, it was a lady minister that made the motion for the merger before the acceptance of the Treastise. She was so respected by both sides where she had ministered that the motion passed without discussion unanimously.This book represents all that were part of the Free Will Baptist movement, consisting of the Palmer (South), Randall (North) and others such as the Stone, John-Thomas, John Wheeler Assns., North Carolina Original FWB and more.
