This is a fun & easy read! Palermo educates the novice golfer about proper course etiquette & terminology, and peppers her not-so-technical golf "manual" with humorous anecdotes. I highly reccomend Red Tees to any woman hesitant to brave the links - it will provide knowledge, confidence, and some laughs!

Two books were purchased. One for myself and one for my adult daughter. This is a "down to earth" and humorous golf book for women. I particularly liked chapter 4 "Fried Eggs and the Dance Floor: Terminology Clarified." It has helped me speak the language of golf. Chapter 8, "The Boys Club" offers a sneak view into the mystery of men and golf.

What a great book! I enjoyed the humor, the antidotes and everyone out there can always use a refresher on the rules of the game and the importantance of being honest about their game. I thought the book was very insightful as it correlated the game of golf with life and shared traits. In reading this book I came to appreciate how intimidating this game can be to newcomers... I had never thought of it in the way that this book illustrates. It has changed my perspective on how new-comers to the game might feel and my attitude towards them. Very well written and a fun, easy read.

This book is a great, stress-free way to learn the ropes of golfing with the guys BEFORE going out on the course! It's a fun and entertaining way to help you remember all the do's and do not's so you do NOT get embarassed while playing! I'm buying a copy for all my girlfriends...

Smart. witty, informative and full of great advice. But more importantly, a great lesson in perpective - on and off the course. A laugh-out-loud must read for budding women golfers and a great reminder for all the "old-pros" as well. This book makes me want to get out there to be a better player, and at the very least, be a positve one. Enjoy!
