I really liked this book and it helped tremendously when planning our recent trip to London. I've been there a couple of times before but this was the first time with small children and this book, along with a few others, proved valuable. It certainly provided great budget advise without going too bare bones but more importantly, we found it to provide fair and objective reviews when it came to hotels and restauants. Also, it gave fairly up-to-date information which was a big plus over some other travel books concerning attractions, hours of operation and prices. Aside from the usual sections of Accomodations, Eateries, and Sightseeing, there were chapters on What's New, The Best of London from $95 a Day, and Planning an Affordable Trip. I especially liked the insider tips it provided in certain sections. My husband liked the detailed foldout map of London the book included but was disappointed it only covered such a small area (from parts of Mayfair to just past the City of London). I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for great travel advise - budget or not.

I had an amazing experience on a relatively low budget. I've gone on vacation to various places and spent thousands of dollars but this trip, I was able to budget my money well and experience the best and brightest of London. I feel like I experienced more of the country because I wasn't limited by my budget.
