This revision of Dr. Branwell's highly popular text retains the features which have made it so attractive to students and lecturers over the years. It remains an elementary and non-mathematical... This description may be from another edition of this product.
This book is well writen, well defined, compleate and aside from being mahematicall well defined gives all the qualitative understanding you need to get by. I suggest you use this to replace your confusing and overly dense spectroscopy chapters in any intro to P.chem book.
Very helpful and deep, it's really a fundamental one

Being an undergraduate student of the Kazakh National State University, Almaty, Kazakstan, CIS, Faculty if Physics, I dealed with spectroscopy. This book was easy to read, perfectly composed and contained all information I need for my research. It stressed upon physical sence of the phenomena and had good illustration material.I must say that I've read it in Russian. The year of edition was 1985 approximately. I strongly recommend this book to people with or without physical background, making researshes on any kind of spectroscopy(IR,UV,NMR).
