Galen A Name that Refuses to Leave You Mind

Galen- the name itself conjours up old world castles, dark alleys, cobblestone streets. However, Galen is now in the present and has learned to adjust to the new ways. Yes, Galen is a Vampire, but a vampire with a twist. This twist is what kept me turning the pages to see exactly what Galen was about. Galen loves to feed and he loves to hunt. But Galen does it with a flair. He seduces the women he wants and depending on his mood he either kills them or keeps them around for a while. Except for Brenda- She was supposed to die- due to circumstances which were beyond Galen's control she didn't now she is out for his blood. When I finished Galen I went right to the next in the series Dark Chances. If you really enjoy dark vampires and want something new and fresh read Galen, and then Dark Chances.

It really is a fantastic book. It moves fast and keeps you turning the page. It is very different from the run of the mill vampire novels. Allan Gilbreath has taken his time with this one and taken us all on a new journey. hahaha What an Odd Mind in deed. If you have ever pissed off two women at one time. Victorian vampire ideals

Allan Gilbreath goes back to the core idea of the Victorian vampire in this book. Sensual, dark, deadly, mysterious, tempting and at it's heart horrible. The title character is charming and seductive while at the same time murderous and amoral. I found it a wonderful read and can't wait for the next book in the series.
