I'm going to give this book to my horse-loving brother and sister-in-law, whose daughter is already grown. It's just as good a gift for adults as kids. The very accessible verse (something that I feel is key when it comes to poetry for youth), combined with the superb page design and artwork make this book an extremely enjoyable read. This book is excellent for the classroom! The imagery projected throughout the book guides students learning in a linguistic sense. The author weaves a beautiful tapestry of equine tales that's soothing for both young and old.
