Shelley Banning, accountant, meet Joel Cassidy, video-game entrepreneur, when she shows up to ask him to hold off collecting on a $100,000 debt from one of her clients. She tries to come across as a no-nonsense, up to date businesswoman and he comes across as a nonconforming game-playing mechanic. Though she tries to keep things businesslike they are soon involved and then comes the twist. The debt Joel is holding off on collecting is secured by property that is now much more valuable than they all thought, and Shelley gets a mysterious phone call warning her.
