please turn WEP on, for your sake

A straightforward book, if you can ignore the annoying Geeks On Call format. It shows how to easily set up your wireless local area network. With liberal screen shots of this process. Just as importantly, it explains the need for installing Wireless Encryption Protocol and how to do so. Many people often neglect this. Which can lead to complete strangers driving by your location (home?) and connecting to the Internet courtesy of your network. Some of you may not have a problem with this. But a stranger doing so might also try to attack and damage your machines. Along with garnering any personal data on you and your family. So turn WEP on! And please use nontrivial, nondefault passwords whenever possible.
