A great aid for learning German!

This book is an excellent way to expand your German vocabulary. I'm an advanced learner of German, but I still found a lot of words in this book that I didn't know. The vocabulary is divided by subject, so there are separate sections for math terms, professions, countries and languages, controversal issues, travel, and even car and airplane parts! The book is also small and light weight, which makes it easy to carry around, so you could pull it out when you have a spare moment. It also comes with a plastic jacket to protect it from wear. It's a great book, and I recommend it for anyone who is learning German.
Cannot learning German without it

I disagree with the previous reviewer in that this little vocabulary book is great reference. If one is a self-taught German learner, this book is not the best place to start: No one should learn a language by memorizing vocabulary only. Check out other books specifically written for beginners, e.g. Teach Yourself Series. To best utilize this book, you need to have some basics in German language. I have self-taught myself German for a year and found this book invaluable.
